FloBak began with a simple love for baking and a longing to rediscover the flavors of home and childhood.
The first bakes started without a grand plan. They were made out of curiosity and comfort, an attempt to recreate the soft breads and small treats I grew up with.
The kind my mom would have ready before school. Sometimes sliced, sometimes left whole for me to tear apart. Sometimes plain, sometimes with something spread on top.
At the time, it was simply part of the morning.
Looking back now, it carries more than I realized.

One bake turned into another.
A little less sugar.
A little more rise.
A softer crumb.
Somewhere along the way, the flavors began to feel the way I remembered.
